GDG, A Student Organization.

The Graphic Design Group is a Valencia Community College organization comprised of students interested in various aspects of graphic design or visual communication. As a group we aim to further our knowledge and experience in the field through guest speakers, workshops and field trips. Opportunities are available to learn, network and socialize with individuals who have similiar interests, and to design projects for actual clients.

Clients, on or off campus, are charged only a fraction of the cost that would be paid to a professional design firm, free-lance designer or advertising agency. Member gain the experience of creating and maintaining client relationships, creating additional projects for their portfolio and recieving compensation for their work. Since projects are available for all members to participate, clients have the benefit of selecting from a number of ideas designed by motivated students.
